Abstract

UD. Libas is one of the micro and small enterprises in Lumajang Regency, focusing on the production of intermediate and ready-to-eat foods. These include shrimp paste and shrimp paste-chili sauce mix. The purpose of this community service was to provide an assistance program in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) for UD. Libas. The targets of the assistance program were Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), product quality control (QC), worker hygiene and sanitation, and worker safety and health. Focus Group Discussion (FGD), field studies of MSMEs, and evaluation of the benefits of the activities were applied in this assistance program. The owners and workers improved on SOP understanding by 80%, the role of QC by 75%, the importance of worker hygiene and sanitation by 83%, and the importance of K3 for workers by 67%. In general, the participants perceived the benefits of the assistance program by 92%. Thus, it is expected that the results of this activity can be fully implemented in 2025.
