Pelatihan Diversifikasi Produk Olahan Ubi Jalar Dalam Rangka Mendukung Implementasi Integrated Farming di Desa Suci Kabupaten Jember

Suci Village, Panti District, Jember Regency has abundant natural resource potential in the agriculture, livestock, and local crafts sectors, but has not been managed in an integrated and sustainable manner. One of commodities in Suci Village that has the potential to be developed is sweet potatoes. Sweet potatoes are rich in nutrients such as carbohydrates, vitamins, and fiber. However, sweet potato commodities in this village are not widely processed into processed products and are mostly consumed in the form of boiled sweet potatoes. This community service activity was carried out to provide training in diversification of sweet potato processing into be cheese and sweet potato noodle products. Participants in this community service activity were women from the PKK of Panti Village. The training activities included lectures and discussions then direct practice in making be cheese and sweet potato noodles. The results of the community service activity showed the level of understanding and ability of the training participants in processing sweet potatoes into value-added products. Through this community service activity, participants were interested in processing sweet potato products into be cheese and sweet potato noodles as superior products of Suci Village. Through this community service activity, it is hoped that it can introduce innovative products to the market based on local wisdom of the region.
