The limited availability of arable land, declining soil fertility due to excessive chemical fertilizer use, and restricted access to subsidized fertilizers are major challenges faced by the Sumber Tani Farmer Group in Arjasa Village, Jember Regency. These problems have led to reduced agricultural productivity and increased production costs. The use of organic materials such as eco-enzyme offers a sustainable alternative to restore soil fertility naturally. Eco-enzyme, derived from natural materials such as rotten fruits, leaves, and other organic wastes, contains beneficial microorganisms that accelerate organic matter decomposition and enhance soil biological activity. However, farmers’ understanding of eco-enzyme utilization remains limited. This community service program aimed to improve farmers’ knowledge and skills in producing organic NPK fertilizer using eco-enzyme as decomposer. The implementation included initial surveys, socialization, training, monitoring, and evaluation through demonstration plots on farmers’ fields. The results showed an 80% increase in farmers’ knowledge based on evaluation and discussion. Farmers were able to independently produce eco-enzyme and apply it as decomposer in organic NPK fertilizer production. The application of organic NPK fertilizer enhanced plant growth compared to untreated plots. This program provides not only practical solution for improving soil fertility but also promotes sustainable agriculture.
