Pemberdayaan Ekonomi Keluarga Melalui Inovasi Abon Bandeng dengan Penambahan Bonggol Pisang Ulin

Abstract

Economic empowerment of families was a crucial effort to improve community welfare, particularly in areas with significant agribusiness potential. In Sidoarjo Regency, economic empowerment based on local products through innovations in processing milkfish and ulin banana corm became a solution to reduce agricultural and fishery waste. This community service program aimed to train local women in the processing of milkfish floss with the addition of ulin banana corm. The training aimed to enhance the skills of processing local products that had added value, reduced waste, and created new market opportunities. Additionally, the program also involved students in the development of local products through the TEFA (Teaching Factory) program, which supported practical skills and the growth of MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises). With more efficient processing and the application of digital marketing, the milkfish floss product was expected to compete in both local and global markets. This local product-based empowerment provided a positive impact on improving family economies and better environmental management.
