Petung Hamlet in Kretek Village, Bondowoso, holds great potential for developing forest honey from *Apis cerana* bees. However, the traditional honey processing and packaging practices result in low-quality products and limited marketability. This community service program aimed to empower local beekeepers through training on hygienic honey processing based on a context-adapted SOP aligned with food sanitation principles. The method included problem identification, SOP development, hands-on training, evaluation, and mentoring. Results showed improved knowledge and practices among the beekeepers, leading to cleaner, more marketable honey products. The team also provided a manual centrifugal extractor as appropriate technology support. This initiative contributes to strengthening the competitiveness of local honey and supports community-based rural economic development.
