Arjasa Village, as one of the villages in Jember Regency, faces serious challenges in the health sector. This village is included in the stunting locus and has a high number of pregnant women at risk. Data from 2024 shows that there were 45 cases and 45 high-risk pregnant women out of 100 pregnant women (45%). Stunting risks reducing children's cognitive and physical development. Meanwhile, the high number of high-risk pregnant women can also increase the maternal mortality rate (MMR) and infant mortality rate (IMR). To address this problem, the community service team provided solutions in the form of: 1) Education for Posyandu cadres on the management of preventing high-risk pregnant women and stunting in toddlers, 2) Training in making nutritious Supplementary Feeding (PMT) for pregnant women and toddlers. This PMT is made by utilizing local food potential, such as moringa leaves, snakehead fish, chicken eggs, carrots, and chayote, which are easily found in the traditional market of Arjasa Village. The products developed include moringa chocolate pudding and snakehead fish nuggets, which are rich in nutrients and easy to produce. This community service activity took place at the Arjasa Village Integrated Health Post (Posyandu) and was attended by health cadres and the Arjasa community. Following the activity, cadres' knowledge regarding preventing high-risk pregnancies and stunting increased, and their skills in preparing PMT (Food and Nutritional Supplements) improved. This is evidenced by the posttest results, which showed a 30-point increase in scores. The average pretest score for cadres before education and training was 50 points, while the average posttest score increased to 80 points. Furthermore, cadres are expected to record comprehensive data for early detection of high-risk pregnancies and prepare nutritious PMT.
