The Talang Rejo Tiga Forest Farmers Group (KTH) in Bondowoso Regency is a community organization formed by forest farmers voluntarily to collectively manage forest resources to improve economic and social well-being and preserve forests. Within the forest stands, members of the farmer group are given the freedom to cultivate productive crops such as coffee, durian, bananas, and cassava. Currently, the production process uses simple manual equipment, and, of course, the productivity and thickness of the cassava slices vary. The activity methodology used, namely: field observation, interviews, making a slicing machine, cassava, equipment testing, and implementation. The conclusions of this activity, namely: (a) the role and participation of KTH members in each stage of the activity reached 87%, this shows that the level of participation of KTH members is categorized as High, (b) The slicing machine introduced is relatively easy to operate including maintenance techniques when trouble occurs, (c) The application of slicing machine technology can increase productivity and quality in the production of cassava chips by at least 300%, and (d) this activity successfully synergized with the program of the East Java Provincial Forestry Service, Bondowoso Branch, especially in empowering and increasing the productivity of KTH members.
