Planting on limited land can be carried out using methods such as verticulture, hydroponics, and tabulampot. These methods optimize space by planting in tiers (verticulture), using water as the medium (hydroponics), or growing plants in pots (tabulampot). This activity is commonly practiced by communities living in areas with limited land, such as residential complexes. Unfortunately, not everyone understands how to apply these methods properly. TEFA Innovation Garden of Polije has a training program on plant cultivation in limited land, which is also open to the public and not only for academic purposes. However, only a few people are aware of its existence. Through this community service activity, we connect PKK Sumber Pakem with TEFA Innovation Garden of Polije to conduct training on plant cultivation in limited land for the board members and members of PKK RT. 04 RW. 35 Sumber Pakem, Kebonsari Village, Sumbersari District. The main problem faced by the target community is the lack of knowledge and skills in plant cultivation that can support household food security. In addition, this activity is also intended as a form of productive recreation for PKK women, who previously had limited access to educational and enjoyable gardening activities. From the partner’s perspective, TeFa (Teaching Factory) Innovation Garden of Polije faces challenges in expanding the promotion of its educational tourism, both conventionally and digitally. TeFa needs to introduce Polije’s Teaching Factory, especially the Innovation Garden, not only as a learning facility for students but also as a resource for the general public. Therefore, through this activity, a digital educational tourism package will be developed, showcasing the training outcomes and plant cultivation practices by PKK Sumber Pakem. The documentation of this activity will be used as attractive and relevant promotional material for the broader community. Through this training, two main objectives are achieved: 1. To improve the knowledge and skills of PKK Sumber Pakem board members and members in cultivating plants on limited land in order to support household food security and family welfare. 2. To support TeFa Innovation Garden of Polije in developing and promoting agriculture-based educational tourism more widely through digital approaches.
