Ngliman Village, located in Sawahan District, Nganjuk Regency, is recognized as a key rose-producing area with significant potential for developing high value-added products, particularly rose essential oil. However, the production capacity and quality among local farmer groups remain limited due to the use of inefficient traditional distillation methods. This community engagement program aimed to enhance the production capacity and quality of rose hydrosol through the application of a modern and efficient distillation system. The activities included problem identification, technical training on distillation operations, production assistance, and performance evaluation by comparing production capacity and product quality before and after technology implementation. The results demonstrated a 30–40% increase in production capacity compared to traditional methods, accompanied by shorter processing time and improved product consistency in terms of clarity and aroma. Furthermore, partners gained the ability to independently operate the equipment and recognize the importance of adhering to quality standards to improve competitiveness. Overall, this program effectively strengthened the local forest farmer group’s business performance by enhancing production efficiency and product quality consistency. The adoption of distillation technology thus represents a promising strategy for developing rose essential products into a competitive local commodity.
