Capacity building is an effort to improve the potential that is owned, leading to improved knowledge and skills. Capacity building is needed in institutions, so that livestock groups can be used as a means for information transfer, discussion, cooperation, distribution of assistance, and problem solving related to livestock groups or livestock. 'Hasil Utama Jaya' Livestock Group is a livestock group located in Demangan Hamlet, Kesilir Village, Wuluhan District, Jember Regency. This community service aims to provide information and knowledge related to development, management and leadership in livestock group organizations. Assistance is also carried out in designing the development of resource management to determine the potential in Kesilir Village. Problem solving in livestock groups is identified with a participatory approach by intensively involving goat farmers, especially to identify the potential of the resources owned and the problems faced. The provision of materials is carried out by discourse, discussions and compiling analysis matrices. Monitoring and assistance are carried out routinely and periodically. The results of this community service activity are that farmers obtain information, knowledge and understanding regarding aspects of increasing institutional capacity. Institutional capacity building can be done sustainably by determining routine programmed meetings and cooperation with other parties so as to improve the optimization of livestock groups and strengthen institutions.
