Abstract

The Politeknik Negeri Batam Accounting Study Program began using a PBL CDIO-based curriculum to strengthen project-based learning patterns. This learning method requires evaluation for continuous improvement. This research aims to evaluate the implementation of PBL CDIO learning and whether using the PBL CDIO learning method influences cost accounting chapter job order learning outcomes for accounting study program students. Quantitative research nonparametric difference test and hypothesis testing using SPSS. We also analysed survey results using Excel from data from twenty-five third-semester students who were experimental respondents. The empirical results of this research are the findings of the influence of using the PBL CDIO method on learning outcomes. The PBL CDIO and other learning methods all have their merits. Carefully consider how these approaches can be combined and tailored to your specific context to create a well-rounded and effective accounting curriculum that prepares students for the future of accounting professions.
