4. Manuscript Structure

The manuscript should generally contain the following sections. Authors should follow the official template for detailed formatting requirements.

Title

The title should accurately and concisely describe the content of the manuscript.

A good title should be:

  • concise;
  • informative;
  • specific;
  • understandable to readers from related disciplines.

Avoid unnecessary abbreviations and avoid writing the title entirely in capital letters.

Authors and Affiliations

The manuscript should clearly include:

  • full names of all authors;
  • institutional affiliations;
  • department or study program, where applicable;
  • city and country;
  • corresponding author's email address.

Authors should carefully verify the spelling of names and affiliations before submission, as this information may be used in publication records and indexing metadata.

Abstract

The abstract should briefly and clearly describe:

  • the research background or problem;
  • the objective of the study;
  • the research methodology;
  • the principal findings;
  • the main conclusion or implications.

The abstract should be informative and understandable without requiring reference to the full manuscript.

References, tables, figures, and undefined abbreviations should not be included in the abstract.

Introduction

The Introduction should provide sufficient background information to establish the context and significance of the research.

Authors should:

  • introduce the research problem or issue;
  • summarize relevant previous studies;
  • identify the research gap or rationale;
  • explain the significance of the study;
  • clearly state the research objectives.

Materials and Methods

This section should describe the research methodology in sufficient detail to allow readers to understand the research process and, where appropriate, enable the study to be reproduced or evaluated.

Authors should clearly explain, where applicable:

  • research design;
  • study setting, participants, or data sources;
  • materials and instruments;
  • research procedures;
  • data collection methods;
  • analytical procedures;
  • statistical methods or other analytical approaches.

Results and Discussion

Present the research findings clearly and systematically using appropriate tables and figures where necessary.

The discussion should interpret the findings, relate them to relevant theories or previous studies, explain their significance, and highlight their implications for research, policy, practice, or society where appropriate.

Avoid unnecessarily repeating numerical information that has already been presented in tables or figures.

Conclusion

The conclusion should summarize the principal findings of the research and directly address the stated research objectives.

Avoid introducing new data, arguments, or substantial discussion in this section.

Acknowledgements

This section is optional. Authors may acknowledge:

  • funding agencies or research grants;
  • supporting institutions;
  • technical assistance;
  • research collaborators or other contributors.

References

References should be:

  • accurate and complete;
  • relevant to the research;
  • properly cited within the manuscript;
  • listed consistently at the end of the paper.

Authors are encouraged to verify all bibliographic information, including author names, publication year, article title, journal or publisher information, volume, issue, page numbers, and DOI where applicable.

5. Figures and Tables

All figures and tables should:

  • be clearly readable;
  • be numbered consecutively;
  • be cited appropriately within the manuscript;
  • include clear and descriptive captions or titles;
  • be relevant to the discussion and findings.

Authors using figures, tables, images, or other materials reproduced from previously published sources are responsible for obtaining the necessary permissions and properly acknowledging the original source.

6. Ethical Responsibilities

Authors are expected to maintain high standards of research and publication integrity. Authors should:

  • submit original work;
  • accurately report research findings;
  • properly acknowledge the work of other researchers;
  • avoid plagiarism and inappropriate text reuse;
  • obtain permission for copyrighted materials where required;
  • ensure that all listed authors have made significant contributions to the research;
  • disclose relevant conflicts of interest where applicable.

Plagiarism, duplicate submission, data fabrication, data falsification, and other forms of research or publication misconduct may result in rejection of the manuscript or withdrawal from the publication process.

7. Editorial Screening

Each submitted manuscript will first undergo an editorial screening to assess its suitability for the conference and compliance with the submission requirements.

The screening may include an evaluation of:

  • relevance to the conference scope and tracks;
  • compliance with the manuscript template;
  • completeness of the submission;
  • basic quality of English language and presentation;
  • originality and research integrity;
  • overall suitability for peer review.

Manuscripts that do not meet the minimum requirements may be returned to the authors for correction or declined before entering the peer-review process.

8. Peer Review

Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial screening will undergo a double-blind peer-review process conducted by independent reviewers.

Reviewers may evaluate manuscripts based on the following criteria:

  • originality and novelty;
  • scientific or scholarly contribution;
  • relevance to the conference scope;
  • methodological or technical quality;
  • clarity and organization of presentation;
  • quality and relevance of references;
  • quality and clarity of the English language;
  • significance and potential impact of the findings.

The Editorial Committee will make the final decision regarding the manuscript based on the reviewers' recommendations and the overall editorial assessment.

9. Revision

Authors receiving revision requests should carefully address all reviewer comments and submit the revised manuscript within the specified revision period.

Authors are encouraged to provide a clear response to each reviewer comment and indicate the corresponding revisions made in the manuscript where applicable.

Failure to submit the revised manuscript within the allocated time may result in withdrawal of the manuscript from further consideration.

10. Camera-Ready Manuscript

After acceptance, authors are required to submit the final camera-ready version of their manuscript according to the specified deadline and formatting requirements.

Before submitting the final version, authors should carefully verify:

  • title;
  • author names and order;
  • institutional affiliations;
  • figures and tables;
  • references and citations;
  • grammar and spelling;
  • overall formatting and template compliance.

Once the manuscript enters the final publication stage, substantial changes to the scientific content should no longer be made unless specifically requested or approved by the Editorial Committee.

11. Conference Presentation

At least one registered author must present each accepted paper during the conference according to the official presentation schedule.

Presenters are expected to deliver their presentations in English and participate in the discussion session following their presentation.

Only papers that have completed the review process, fulfilled the applicable editorial and conference requirements, completed the required registration and payment, and have been presented during ICoSHIP 2026 will be considered for the applicable publication process.

Publication and indexing are subject to the editorial policies, peer-review procedures, scope, and requirements of the respective journals, proceedings, publishers, or indexing services.
