Pemberdayaan Guru Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Sukorambi Melalui Pelatihan Coding dan Basic IoT Berbasis PictoBlox

Abstract

The development of the Society 5.0 era demands an improvement in digital competence among teachers, including at the elementary school level. One relevant skill is programming or coding, which can foster computational thinking abilities as well as creativity in learning. This community service program aims to empower elementary school teachers in Sukorambi Subdistrict through training on coding and basic IoT using PictoBlox. The training was conducted on August 16–17 at SDN Dukuh Mencek 03. The results show an improvement in teachers’ understanding of basic programming logic and practical skills in applying visual-based coding. This program is expected to serve as an initial step in strengthening digital literacy in elementary schools and to support the implementation of the curriculum that begins to integrate coding dan AI as an elective subject.
